anyone here have any experience with any of the local residential alarm companies??? i need to get one installed for my mom's place...

i had one of those wireless ones in my former house, and it worked pretty good, but i think there's too much windows/doors/entry points at my mom's place to cover (the wireless one i had before only could do 16 entry points)...

I had Alert Alarm.

The systems are all pretty much the same, windows, doors and motion.

The service is what counts.

We had a few false alarms...and damn the cops are there at your door PDQ.

We have one from security alarm shop, it's wireless and covers a lot of windows and doors. Remember she needs to get a "permit" from HPD for like $5.00 year. The installers are professional, we have now used them twice.

I got Lifeline. Never got a false alarm. Wireless, local company, best investment I've made.
