So I have been interested in an M5 and have been looking around here and there. Found this one and was wondering if anyone can give any opinions on it. Spoke to the owner and he sounds like an ethusiant. Owns the e30 m3 and mcoupe as well. Never seen this bmw cell phone before either. What price range do you guys think its worth?

Thanks! :redspot

seems like a good price to me...I'd want more than that for mine and I have more miles.
Just get the records.

So the owner said he will be letting the auction run its course but he did mention he will not take anything lower than 22,500. Comparing to the prices I have been seeing lately it sounds more than reasonable for him to let it go at that. Im really going to have to think about this

price looks pretty good for an '00 with less than 70k miles. it has the updated nav (he says it's an '01, but it's newer than that because it is the DVD based system). also has the angel eyes headlights, which means that it's going to look like an '01-'03 M5.

you'll want to have it checked out thoroughly by a mechanic who knows the E39 M5. all in all looks pretty nice. good luck.

Sweet info. I have spoken to the owner and he sounds very knowledgeable. It just doesn't fit in with my schedule to go take a look at the car at this time. If anyone here takes a look at it, please do let me know the condition of it.

Thanks for the info.
