Reluctantly selling my 535is. It is a beautiful example that has been well cared for since new. I s has good records to cinfirm consistent care. Diamond Schwarz over Pearl Beige, 5 speed, 193K, everything works. Car is extremely straight and 100% rust free. This is not a show car but one that has been lovingly used and maitained and it presents very well. Strong Points not listed above: less than 1000 miles on new Boge (Sachs) shocks, struts and Suspension Techniques springs, M-tech 1 wheel (have original also), 16" BBS rims, multi stage respray prior to my ownership. (given what i just spent to pait my E30 i consider this a strong point)Blaupunkt Monte Carlo head unit (mp3 capable), Withing the last 2 years, (6,000 miles): new dogbones, cap and rotor, full brake job with vented rotors, rear subframe bushings, new shift bushings, factory floor matts, O2 sensor, flex disk, diff. mounts, cat and muffler, battery. I am sure i am forgetting some details but happy to correspond with an interested party.
Minor issues: paint is tired on the rear spoiler. I will split the cost of this repair if a buyer is interested in that. Slight discoloration on the headliner, cracked fog light lens that i will replace prior to sale.
My mechanic went through the car about 6 months ago and gave a very good report. It was m issing a muffler hanger that was replaced, one "body grommet" that i can't locate. It needed a new tension clip for the clutch hydraulic line but he didn't have one and it doesn't cause any problems.
Uninstalled items included in sale: crack free dashboard (the car currently has a cap that was well installed and looks good), 3.46 Limited slip diff.
