what do you mean the car doesn't like it? is it throwing a CEL or something.

I bought it to remedy what I thought was a MAF-related misfire. I figured what the hell, might as well get a better MAF and software along the way, right? Well - it wasn't the problem and I'd like to use the $$ to buy the fuel pump and FPR, which is where the problem is.

So there ya go. The car ran fine with it - it just still had the ever-elusive random stutter that I've been chasing for about a year.

Could have done the same thing with a $85 VW maf. Now that the word is out, it will be hard to get that kinda money for a BMW part that's the same element that VW used..:cool

Pardon? This is the complete unit - not just the element. No splicing needed, and it doesn't run richer like the VW junk. BTW - posting crap like that in someones for-sale ad is a rather dickish thing to do.
