ok so iv got some money coming my way and im in serious need of a good sound system, i want to go all audiobahn but im really clueless on the best way to mount the subs.. i cant see it being easy as i still need to be able to access my spare wheel (which leaves next to no room already) and i know its hard to get good sound from the boot as it is a solid steel box welded to the back of my car..

i have punched my ski hole out, my seats dont fold forwards. i can only assume the best way to mount them is to have them facing the seats.

Has anyone got any pics of their boot that they could post for some ideas?

Also, it is a hard job to make 6x9 speakers fit the parcel shelf(and look neat)? 6" speakers are w*nk..

If you want to get a good system then stay away from Audiobahn.Rubbish in my opinion. With the ski hatch out you should have plenty of bass transfer from boot to cabin.

If you're fitting a sub then flag 6x9 in the back - they won't add anything a 6.5 or 5.25 has. My opinion, leave the factory rears in place and spend the extra moeny on front components or sound deandening

FWIW there's rumour that Audiobahn, Digital audio, Swiss audio and Blitz audio (all owned by the same guy) are all about to go under. No idea how true the rumour is, nor can I be bothered researching it.

i want to go all audiobahn but im really clueless

You prove that you are clueless by wanting Audiobahn ....Audiobahn is a JOKE ...barely better than most 'flea market specials'. What is your budget and what are your goals ....you can easily do MUCH better.

Here's my 525i with the skihole pass through opended up and 8" Polk MOMO sealed up against the opening. JBL GTO 301.1ii drives it. Sounds awesome. I still need to cover the speaker with some speaker cloth.
