I have my Kelleners exhaust coming in from Germany in the next few weeks sometime. I had a couple questions for anybody with experience with picking up their auto part from customs at BWI.

1) Do you have to call a certain number and ask before going to the airport to pick up? Do you just estimate on the arrival?

2) Do I have to go through security or is there a certain way to get to customs at BWI?

3) Did anybody have any trouble going through this process?

It's my first time going to customs to pick something up, just want to get a feel of what to expect.

Expect to engage one of the guards in hand to hand combat.

Depends on what broker your using to ship it.

You should have a number on the form that you can call to schedule a pick up, they can also give you an ETA. Go to the freight terminal off of Aviation Blvd and find your shipper there, or go to the customs dept which is also in the same complex, do not go into the actual airport. I have never had any problems with shipping stuff from overseas, just takes awhile....
