View Full Version : Photoshoot get together
98jeep5nine 03-13-2008, 11:11 AM So what does everyone think about a bunch of us get together for a mildly sized BMW photoshoot? If we find a good location, one of us who can take good pictures..unlike myself hah. I think it'd be a cool get together to organize and maybe we can get something to eat before or afterwards? I know theres a lot of us around on the east coast and i was thinking maybe we could all meet up and get some nice photos.
Good idea?
SpeedTheory 03-13-2008, 11:40 AM Nope.
schosports 03-13-2008, 12:50 PM Not at all.
sKunkman 03-13-2008, 02:42 PM Terrible idea.

The Man 03-13-2008, 08:47 PM hmmm.... rough life.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea, but maybe instead we can have a meet and take some photos.

Like Chadds Ford and such...amazing driving back there...
DeaconFrost 03-14-2008, 10:29 AM I took my wife to dinner at the Dilworthtown Inn, and almost missed our reservations because of the roads in that area.

atleast somebody sort of liked it
w.e just thought id throw something out i was thinking about it earlier so k i guess delete thiss
No, it's a good idea. Me and some of the guys were talking about it. I can't make it, but John V, Andy, essejM3, Bav///Man, Preppy and jkuper said they'd be up for it.
John V 03-14-2008, 12:38 PM . . .addicted to PF Changs. . .
That's like admitting you're addicted to Applebee's. Or TGI Friday's. I mean honestly. :lol
SpeedTheory 03-14-2008, 12:41 PM You mean you aren't addicted to McDonalds? Shits gourmet. Hollaback.
01 325xi 03-14-2008, 12:51 PM Please explain to me how that's like admitting you're addicted to applebeas...it's a whole different level.
I mean, yes it's a chain but I love chinese and it's the best chinese food i've ever eaten...
...so if you care the elaborate my ears are open.
I like it. Any area where we can catch a picturesque landmark in the background?
SpeedTheory 03-14-2008, 01:14 PM I mean, yes it's a chain but I love chinese and it's the best chinese food i've ever eaten...
You've got to be kidding me. It's a chain restaurant with mediocre & overpriced food.

John V 03-14-2008, 01:28 PM I mean, yes it's a chain but I love chinese and it's the best chinese food i've ever eaten...
I just think you need to expand your horizons a little bit. Chang's is very average americanized "chinese" food. If you like it more power to you.

Well i don't really want to get into where i've eaten and where i haven't. Ummm, but i don't feel the need to expand my horizons in terms of where i've eaten at all...thanks for the advice though big guy.
And yes I do like it, as well as millions of people in the US, as it is becoming one of the biggest expanding franchise restaurants in the US...so thank you, more power to all of us
01 325xi 03-14-2008, 01:32 PM Are we really talking about how good PF Changs is or isn't? Which again, is nothing more than a matter of opinion.
Wow...just wow

Apparently it's a really big deal to you, sport! :stickoutt McDonald's has more franchises than any other "restaurant" in the world - I guess that means it's good food!
The Man 03-14-2008, 03:25 PM so umm... did we decide on pics and food yet? If not, we could use sugarloaf mountain for pics and some where in germantown, rockville, etc. for food.

What's the difference between a bartender and a toilet?
John V 03-14-2008, 05:10 PM I think john v is like 18
I wish I were still 18!
98jeep5nine 03-14-2008, 05:27 PM So this thread out of 32 posts had like 4 about the topic, minus the 6 that said "Heym you.. OP, you suck at life go suck dick and kill yourself." aka, the ones that said my idea sucked. hahahah so can we get back on topic. I like PF changs and Wendys not mcdonalds
98jeep5nine 03-14-2008, 05:27 PM I'm 18!
John V 03-14-2008, 06:41 PM Sorry, OP.
Seriously though - is there anyone in West Chester between the ages of 16 and 21 that does NOT own a BMW?
My parents didn't love me when I was 18 :(
NHbmw325I 03-14-2008, 06:57 PM I wish I were still 18!

Not only BMWs, but also an expensive digital camcorder. You missed the NASA event @ Summit where the West Chester crew felt compelled to record a paddock roll-in.
The Man 03-15-2008, 12:46 AM Ok lets say PF changs and now we need the picture place
P.S- I'm not even 18 yet and I have a job to pay for the car and taxes, to bad only a little bit goes to the car :(
Quailane 03-15-2008, 12:57 AM Are we really talking about how good PF Changs is or isn't? Which again, is nothing more than a matter of opinion.
Wow...just wow
I have nothing against PF Changs other than the fact that they pretend it is a Chinese restaurant. It is a lot closer to Applebee's than Chinese take out. They don't even have any Asian people working at the one near me. The only thing Chinese about it is the name and the Asian-flavored decor.
98jeep5nine 03-16-2008, 01:01 PM I don't even know anymore, and even if we find somewhere to take the pictures.. We need someone who takes good pictures. I know one of the local guys with the gray e36 with black contours and the ltw wing.. I forget his username..but he takes awesome pictures
