Hey Guys! First Post! Here is my Question. My red 325is just got totalled and it was a fully loaded coupe. It had everything including the On Board Computer. I just bought a new car... a Black 328is... and it is fully loaded other then the On Board Computer. Can i convert from a non On Board Computer to a On Board Computer? Can i just swap the Unit? Thanks for the help!!!

don't take us seriously, we're just messin with everyone who mis-posts here. But it wasn't much fun to mess with you because you realized your mistake by yourself :)

congrats on the 328is! i think all of them do come with an OBC, it just may not be the full OBC. if you don't have anything in place of the OBC, it was probably taken off. in any case, it's possible to do a full OBC conversion, but you need an extra wiring harness (the white one) and you need to run a few additional wires to the dashboard and a few other places. i've done it on my '98 M3. search the web for "18 button obc conversion" and you'll find info.
