View Full Version : Help me with my loaner burn740i 03-12-2008, 03:46 PM So I've got an '88 528e while my car is in the shop, and the interior dome light is dead. I tried replacing the two 12V 10W bulbs at work today, but that didn't solve the problem. Anyone have any ideas? I will check the fuse, but it doesn't seem like that's it because all the other interior lights work. Edit: Nope, all the fuses look good. Is it a dark red color? I have no idea when it last worked, I don't think it ever has for him either, but he hasn't fixed it. Yes, both wires were connected. Fuses are fine, and the bulb filaments look good as well, although the bulbs are a little discolored. I'm surprised at this car, a few things don't work but for a 20 year old car with over 200k, it runs great. I kinda like it. PixMan 03-13-2008, 04:07 PM Position for the switch is OK? I've talked to him since and it turns out it's a problem behind the dash.
