I just had my wife’s 1993 Audi 100S Avant detailed by Long Island Mobile Car Wash Inc. They did an amazing job on it. I just wanted to let other members know about them.

First of all, the car needed major work on the interior and exterior since it has been years since it had been properly detailed. In fact, my wife's car is a hand-me-down from my step-mother who used it to shuttle her kids around for a decade. My wife now does the same with our son. The exterior was clayed, compounded, polished and waxed. They successfully brought back the shine and luster to the paint. The wheels, which had brake dust baked into the finish, look refreshed. Their attention to detail (no pun intended) was great. They even went the extra mile to clean the wheel wells/fender liner which had untold amount of crud from the road and NY winters.

The interior had stains in the carpet, scattered debris/raisins/cookie crumbs and all the nooks and crannies were just dirty. Once again, they made it look great and even applied leather conditioner to top it off.

I recommended them to my dad, who had them detail his Audi A4 that was being returned from lease. The car passed the post-lease inspection at the dealership with ease. He then had them detail his Lincoln Aviator and return it to it's original luster. He, too, is a happy customer.

For those who are interested, they serve Nassau & Suffolk County year round and also have a shop located in Commack. They can actually come to you and detail your car wherever it is located. They also do work for a major BMW dealership on Long Island so I assume they have a good reputation.

I am not sure, exactly, as my wife paid. I remember the quote being very reasonable. I am pretty sure each car was a different price, as each car required a different amount of work. I would recommend giving them a call and telling them what you need. I'm sure they can give you a quote.

Pictures????

Sorry, no pics. I didn't document the work. Just passing-along my experience.

Yeah. I actually went to high school with Jeff. I see him at the track from time to time. I figured I might as well give him a shot. He did good by me, so I recommended him to my pops. Three cars, three jobs well done.
