:helpAlright, I was driving today and I found that when I was in traffic and the throttle was only slightly open but mostly coasting along - the engine started to buck and surge. If I opened the throttle a bit it would stop. I just changed the plugs and ignition wires. After I learned that I should not have used bosch platinum, would those plugs do that? any thoughts. other than that it runs quite well throughout the range.might this be a fuel supply problem?:help

swap in bosch supers. If that doesn't correct the problem, it sounds like you're running slightly lean.
Check for vacuum leaks, if none you may try bumping the mixture rich a tad, and I mean less than 1/8 turn.

i have a similar problem... where do i adjust the mixture?
it usually only happens in second when i'm not fully stepping on the gas below 2k rpms
edit- 2k rpms not 3k

Ya me too . I hate it when things arnt running well. It runs fine when its cold and getts worse when its hot which makes me think that its a fuel issue as it would be running richer with the cold start injector.
However now I am getting what sounds like detination while at idle. Kind of like a puut puut puut every few seconds. I thought it could be arcing in the cap but I cleaned it all out and still the same. and yes I need to know where that screw is also.
Thanks
Sam

the cold start injector only sprays for a maximum of 8 seconds depending on how cold ambient temp is.
Cold fuel enrichment is controlled by the WUR.
there are many, many threads on how to adjust mixture. And that may or may not be your issue.
