I hate DDM right now. Their pricing makes me want to cry... as soon as I put a mod on, DDM seems to have them for a much lower price within a couple of months.

Heated, powered, blue glass, convex, 2 section, no writing on the passenger side. E46 and maybe E39 are auto-fold. Some have memory. Specific models for coupe or sedan. Yada^3.

Let me get them out of shipping and get some pics snapped.

Pricing will be good to great, of course. I just have to get the waybills out, look at the cubic meters and weight and figure out what these cost me in shipping once I receive them.

I have to repeat this process with lots of items coming in.

If someone told me that I could sell a container of bumpers in 3 days and sell half way through another container in 5 more days, I'd have said they were crazy. I think the container on the 24th is likely to be sold out when it gets here too. I have a third container on order and hopefully that one will leave us with some inverntory on these until the next one arrives.

I haven't looked at the bolt pattern or at the shape of the mounting base. The base is aluminum so if the attachment is correct and the base plate shape is larger and the correct plane shape you theoretically could mill them to fit.

That said, maybe the other guy bought from another supplier that makes a halfie.

On the seat covers. This is entirely doable. What I have to find out is if the coupes are available. In Asia, coupes are rare. They (coupes) aren't even available in mainland China. Same thing with manual transmissions in China. I'd say 90% of all cars in China, even things like Buicks, are manual transmissions. But in China, BMW only supplies automatics. You cannot get a manual transmission BMW unless you special order it.

Since there aren't any coupes running around, you won't see very many products specific to the coupe available.

On the seat covers. This is entirely doable. What I have to find out is if the coupes are available. In Asia, coupes are rare. They (coupes) aren't even available in mainland China. I think that the seat covers would be the same from coupe to sedan. Only difference is the coupe seats fold forward; but if you were just recovering your seats then this wouldn't be a problem.

They are the same material, literally the only difference is the lip being moulded on. They some with the same stuff as well. They would be shipped fedex

There is a chance. A very good chance. But I want to look at the current vendor offerings. Basically, I am not out to compete with vendors on new products where the pricing is FAIR.

Some pricing has been completely UNFAIR. That's where we are focusing.

Driving every price down to nothing just because we can is not our goal.

I'll be checking all major pricing tomorrow. Maybe. But I priced them pretty close to begin with.

Basically, on those, I came in with Fair, equitable pricing right away. On lighting, if I had dropped the prices all at once, no one would have believed it was possible and would have thought we were selling who knows what.

By entering with good pricing and dropping it almost weekly, we have sold HINDREDS of sets of headlights, THOUSANDS of HIDs and HUNDREDS of taillights and corners. The truth is out now, we have good stuff and we've moved the prices lower in an orderly fashion that maintains credibility and also sells the product at a rate that DEPO can keep up with. I won't insult anyone's intelligence and try to say that we can sell product faster than DEPO can make it. But we can sell it somewhat faster than they can get new stuff to us in the SMALL quantities we need it.

That last part needs some reasoning. Its not that vendors like us on this forum can sell it faster than the factory can make it. We buy smaller quantities than they want to make, more often than they want to make it.

100 sets of E36 headlights may last some vendors months and if they ran a sale and needed them again in 3 weeks, the factory wouldn't schedule them in such small quantities in a hurry. But if you order 500 sets, you can get them more stably.

I've been playing a similar game with bumpers. I can in fact, sell them faster than I can get them. I've gone through 3 containers of them! Now, we are waiting for them AGAIN. Eventually we'll burn through the pent up demand and have a stable supply. At THAT point, I may have to raise prices a couple of dollars as my shipping costs would rise on a per item basis.

So, what's this got to do with rear E36M3 bumpers? I bought a lot, priced them low to begin with and haven't had to increase the order. In fact, I've only reordered a few dozen more after the initial order. I don't have much fat in the price and almost no leverage to drive the cost lower through larger purchases, which I made initially.

Just out of general curiosity (I don't know if there's much market) but, would you guys by any chance be carrying all-chrome grills anytime soon?

I kind of like the chrome look on the grills vs the flat black (although if they had a metallic black I'd be interested).

We had those for a while and even advertised them. No one nibbled and I finally sent them back and exchanged them for black. Luckily I didn't have a lot of them and could take them back with me to the factory without paying shipping on them.

You can probably have one chromed near your house. Check around. Then you can take your stock one or a take-off from another member and have it done. Probably for less than you think.

I don't know what a VS license plate frame looks like. But we have CF license plate brackets for $20.00 each. They look like the normal plate holder. No vanity markings from us.

Almost everything is in stock.
If I were you i would wait on the side skirts. I know some people are having fitment issues. I would not want to sell you a product that might not fit right. Trust me Im extremely picky about parts.

The bumpers are in now, yes?

DDM rear bumper. Perfect fit for those who had questions. It does have a ripple when its initially installed. A day in the sun and it conforms to the bumper. There is a natural bend in the material when not mounted. Once it gets mounted the ripple goes away and fits perfect.

They will fit the RHD E36 but the drivers mirror is not slightly tilted upward like OEM m3 mirrors.

When i ordered them by phone i was told that within a week i would recieve my items. I called the following week and was told that you guys were swamped and they would be delivered the following week. So i called earlier this week and was told that you guys were out of DEPOs, and i wasn't given an exact day. I don't mind waiting it's just that I haven't recieved anything from you guys. No emails and until now my credit card hasn't been charged. I was told to wait another week and i will. But I'm just saying that there are other members that are having the same issues and get the same answers i have been given. i don't want to be an a$$ but im just letting you guys know.

Finally got the m3 bumper back from paint yesterday and threw it on the 325i real fast. Fitment is pretty good. Kind of hard to get the fog bracket on though but not a big deal.

Oh this is the integrated lip version. :) Not bad for $100 :D
Still have to put the mesh on and fogs but i think i'm going to do fog deletes instead.

My issue is that i have been lied to about my items being shipped twice. I would understand if they told me in the beginning that it would take 3 or 4 weeks. I'm not the only one that has been lied to about shipping dates. They should let us know up front so we wont have to keep calling them.

i prefer to wait a few extra days and get a quality product instead of getting my headlights and going back and forth for weeks trying to get the issues resolved/sorted out

they did have a ad in the vendor comment/recommendation section that they are looking for extra help. extra help isn't hard to find, quality extra help is hard to find.

Exact same thing happened to me. Then i was shipped a duplicate order after i already recieved the items. Luckly for DDM i was honest enough to refuse the package.

how much did all ya'll pay for your bumpers after shipping? b/c i was under the impression it was going to be a lot less than $220

DDM said that the shipping quote will be high at first, but then they get the actual bill from the shipping company (since they ship so much, they get the real bill after things are shipped) and will reimburse some of the overage. But shoot 220 for a M3 bumper is still 80 bucks cheaper then anyone else.

This is true:buttrock. In addition, our website does not seem to cooperate with us or you the customer when calculating shipping on oversized items.

OK wow, so it's been over a month since I ordered my bumper and ive called multiple times. It had been a couple weeks since I called last so I decided to check yet again and call today. I called and asked to have my order status checked on. The lady on the other end then kindly told me that the price I paid online did not include all of the shipping cost so my bumper was just sitting at their warehouse. NOTE I had NO notifications whatsoever, not even a confirmation of purchase. No phone calls, no emails, no PMs, no nothing. Is this how you treat all your customers? I mean you guys have great deals but that is just rediculous. What's the deal.

Anyways I order my rear bumper last thursday and was told that it would take 3 days. Its now friday and nothing... I was supposed to paint this weekend so...

Kinda a little irritated cause I could have payed 25 bucks more to get it earlier.

Jim.... need to stop by your shop when you're there. i need help in trying to get my reverse lights to work. i bought the red/smoked tails last month... reverse lights on both sides won't work. i tried changing out the bulbs, and that didn't solve the problem. when i switch back to stock tails, they seem to work just fine. i've been in contact with paul through email, and was going to try to get things resolved at bimmerfest ...but i guess your email volume's pretty heavy that sometimes it takes 3 days to get a response back!

also, i'm wondering if the e36 sideskirts come will all the parts needed to install them on a non-m car... and, if you would also sell just the plastic mounting parts (need an extra set to install my other sideskirts on my other car)

i bought the blackout grilles from DDM at bimmerfest. :buttrock thanks for the suggestion. they make my car look 10 times better. :)

are you ever at the shop during the weekend? i don't think i will be able to come during the week, as i work until 6pm. i need to buy a few more parts...and join the wholesale club. please let me know. i tried PMing you, but couldn't.
