you would think they have all of them damn potholes fixed by now.

This winter was extremely hard on the roads because we got more snow than usual. It'll take a while to recover. Unfortunately, the cars will pay the price. I've got a broken rear spring... :(

They never fix them...we're in mass

i recall that the state helps give u a certain percentage to like tires, shocks and springs if you have to replace them due to potholes.

i don't know if anyone knows anything about that.

it's impossible to get that money....I know people who have tried...they don't like to give it out EVER

Especially to "pimped out" bmws

i know i can get it covered under my extended warranty but i gotta pay 100 bucks co payment and that suxs cause thats how much one would cost anyways.

I live in the south, so I've never had to deal with snow, so I'm just wondering what exactly does the snow do to the road surface?

I don't know if it's really the snow as much as the salt. But the road cracks in the winter, and then water gets in there and freezes. As everyone knows, when water freezes it expands and that causes the asphalt to crumble, causing huge potholes, which then swallow your car. So every spring up here the DPW has to go around and patch all of the new potholes. There are roads made up entirely of patch material. The original road surface has long since crumbled away, but they just keep on patching it...

yeah which does wonders on our suspension, i goto school on huntington ave and that street hasn't be repaved in like 20 years and its filled with potholes everywhere and the fact of the damn railroads on the ground, that'll just kill any cars suspension after awhile.

I dont think a BMW warranty covers it :dunno
