As in taking the door off and working in it? My power windows are messed up and everytime I go to put the door panel back on I always mess it up and bend the top ledge.. I ripped a little bit of it too I think Is there a way to do it without ripping/bending anything?
Is there someone here in RI I can pay to fix it for me on the cheaper side??? I don't feel like spending $250+ to have a shop fix it when I know it doesn't take that long to fix.

it you go to the dealer, and get new plastic grommets first, the rest is easy.
Just take a putty knife, or flat screwdriver and bust the old grommets (they're 1 time use anyways)
then lock the door (so you can get the panel over the tip of the pin
then lift up and foward around the interior handle at the same time
What ripped, the backing board, or the '"leather" on top?

lol i know the piece you broke (black top edge not connected to door panel?), just get a glue gun and glue it and remove excess, and use a glue gun to make the door panels nice and snug to the doors if the bars are loose (crappy glue bmw uses blow)

you use automotive glue, they sell it at autozone and it fit my crappy 4 dollar glue gun (wide sticks)
and she has a z3 so when it gets hot..... top down

yeah the top leather cardboard part was ripping i stuck some mailing tape on it for the time being bc I was frustrated with trying to get the panel back on. I know someone pointed out a website that i can order the window parts for but I had to figure out what parts I need. I'll probably stop by the dealership instead. Plus the grommets already busted and thats why my window is broken lol.
