I posted this in another forum and only got one reply, but someone suggested I post here. Last week I was sideswiped by an SUV. I almost got out of the way but I got clipped and she ripped my front bumper off. Does anyone know of a great body shop in Minneapolis?

From what I know, Sears Imports in Minnetonka (no, not Sears the department store!) is the only BMW Factory Certified Collision Center in the Minneapolis metro area.

Good to use Certified Collision center so that if you ever sell the car the purchaser can be assured of a quality repair that uses factory parts and gets put back together by people that work on BMW's daily - not some guy that does a couple BMW's over the course of a year.

I guess I need to clarify. The car in need of repair is a Volvo. I don't need to take it to a dealer, and I would actually prefer not to, but I do want it done right.

Raymond's Auto body in St. Paul. They are not only excellent technically (really, they do a lot of high end MB/Porsche work), they can be trusted.

Excellent, that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Someone also suggested Lehman's Garage. Does anyone here know anything about them?
