Hey all, just a couple notes to say hello and tell what's been going on.
The website was recently updated as I was able to finally get the computer to work. I still need to take my tower into the Geek Squad to get some stuff worked out, so if you want any changes or anything on the site, it may take a week or more.
That being said, if anyone has any stuff they want to post on the site, PM me and I'll throw it up there. The site is for all members, so if we're missing something, let me know.
Finally, DTM Theory is parting ways with one of our sponsors, Top Hat Customs. Top Hat was a great business, but the owner restructured and is no longer in the BMW tuning business at the moment. The owner informed me of this just recently. Since there is no commonality in products and business market, it was decided that DTM Theory and THC were no longer compatible.
There was no blowout or huge drama, they just stopped doing BMW tuning. They now market a line of Lexus and Infiniti wheels. There are no hard feelings or ill will involved. It's simply a change of business.
Accordingly, DTM Theory members will no longer be getting discounts or sponsorship from Top Hat since it isn't possible at this point. Without being too vague, there was a proposed sponsorship for the club for several upcoming car shows. Understandably, that proposal is no longer on the table. I mention this because several members were made aware of this proposal prior this announcement. Just an FYI to get the info out there.
The guys at Top Hat Customs are great guys and know their stuff, so if you're looking for custom Lexus or Infiniti wheels, give them a holler at tophatcustoms.com.
SO, now we need to find a new wheels and tuning sponsor. Anyone have any ideas or leads???? ;)
