Hi All...I know the search function but a friend is looking at 2001 M3 with 44k with warranty to 75k until 4/2009 and I'm being lazy.

Anything wrong with this year?
Anything to look for?

If it falls between 10/01 to 02/02 production make sure the rod bearing recall was done.

Make sure all oil changes were done with 10w60 Castrol TWS Motorsport oil ONLY.

Coils might also fail. Have they been replaced?
