View Full Version : DEPO's from Ebay, make HID fit?

hey guys, so i have these depos from ebay that i got for 185, they were the cheapest when i got them, anyway, today my HID kit came in, and the bulbs are too big to fit in the holes, what have people done to modify the holes? i plan on using a dremel

Yeah a dremel will work. I used a metal file. Take off just enough so you'll still have a tight fit.

no, you are supposed to dremel the small little tab on the bulb off, not the light.

Maybe I'm missing something, but their is no small metal tab on my bulbs. I had to file down the bulb housing itself.

i never had to do that, i just cut the little tab on the bulbs off... maybe we had different style H1 bulbs, but i never had to do that.

Ya just do as they show in the link you provided. I really wouldnt suggest trimming the bulb, that seems kinda crazy, but maybe it would work??
