After all the help I got when looking for a hitch, I thought I'd look for a glass windbreak. The dealer wants a small fortune to install one. Someone told me about one that has brackets that install in the grooves on the rollbar... kind of DIY I'm told. I can't find it searching the web. Any ideas?

You might also check out listings on Ebay and/or Craigslist. Caveat emptor, as some of them are junk, but you might find a bargain.

Also try Bavarian Autosport. Got their plexiglass windscreen kit for my 2003 Z4 .... consists of 3 pieces of plex (for roll bars and the space between them. Installed in about 30 min - no special tools. Looks great ... effective.
