Hey all, I need to know where NOT to get ripped off for two cars that have an airbag light on. One is my 1995 325iS. Ive been told it is the occupant sensor in the pass seat, but recently it hasnt turned off. usually, it comes on for a minute or so every few weeks.

the other car is more important. Its a 1999 volvo s70 that my parents are going to get rid of unless i can get this airbag fixed for not too much $$. You may be wondering why i care about a dumb ol volvo. because its STICKSHIFT, from the factory, and if we ever get rid of this car i can kiss having another stickshift volvo goodbye. its a great car, and i dont want them to throw it out out of frustration of not getting this stupid thing fixed. ive brought it to 3 or 4 places, body shops and regular repair guys, but everyone has said something to the extent of "i dont know" or "im not touching that with a 10 foot pole"

so please, where can i get these cars in for airbag work? i dont want to go to the stealership, they charge you over $100 just to set eyes on it

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

by the way, i live in nj, near newark, so closer to there the better

why not take the volvo to the dealer? and if the light stays on in your bimmer now it is most likely that the seat sensor is now completely shot. but anyone with an airbag scan tool can let you know.
