Who's bought Depo E36 ellipsoids with DDE halo's from understeer.com?
Do they have a condensation problem at all?
I have a knockoff pair (look like the Apexcone projector brand on understeer, not the ellipsoid)of lights off ebay that never had a problem until my radiator blew and spewed antifreeze all over them. Then they started getting moist, so I took them apart and cleaned with lens wipes and they still get moist. I put dessicant packs from shoes inside them and they adsorbed the moisture in about a day when it rains/snows, but its still annoying. I know they're not sealed like they were when new. Also the halos are lit up by 3 194 bulbs which is way ghetto, but I didnt know that when I bought them. Which is why I want CCFL now. (also cuz of a nice rock chip in each light) I'm just worried about another moisture problem again.
So which is the best place to buy? Understeer? or from BavToys?
I want the ellipsoid look of stock back on my car which is why I almost put them back in, but still wanted HID and halos.
Thanks

Edit: price from understeer is $279 shipped with 6500k halos and lamin-x.
BavToys is $275 shipped with halos and no lamin-x
but for the price, which has better customer service, or will work with you on defective parts?

Before I spend ANOTHER $300 I'd like to be well informed.
THANKS MUCH

Chris from understeer got ahold of me within minutes of my post and helped me out immensly. I went with the package deal for $199 and a few ups. Excellent service as far as I'm concerned. My next venture will be lowering.
