Today getting on the highway i gunned it. In 3rd i put my foot down and it felt odd. As i was speeding up, all of a sudden there was a little loss of power and then a gain. Shifted to 4th and the car felt weak but then got full power again. It felt like i wasnt keeping the throttle on the floor. Does anybody know what i should look for?

CEL is not on.

I thought I felt something very similar to that last week, but not during WOT just accelerating normal... I cleaned the ICV a few days after though and haven't felt it since then maybe try that if you haven't already? Either way I know the feeling... its not a good one.

ASC probably kicked in. Did the suspension unload on a bump on the onramp or something?

I dont know about him, but for me it was not the ASC.

I dont think so. It was pretty smooth. it is possible thought because i gunned it again in 3rd to check for clutch slippage and it didnt happen sooo..

Hopefully it is just the asc. It felt like the clutch was slipping a little and then biting good again but the engine tone lowered with the power so thats a no. I will go back to the same ramp tomorrow with asc on and then again with it off and see what happens.

Thanks for the idea!

Err..horrible idea.

If ASC kicked in on said ramp, I don't know if I wanna go flying up it at WOT in 3rd with it off. :dunno.

Plus if the clutch slipped, engine speed would go up.

It wasnt because of the turn possibly just a bump. I was still accelerating the entire time though so i dont quiet understand what is going on. if it was asc kicking in then i should have stopped accelerating. i dont like this.....

No, you will still accelerate with ASC kicking in, but it will slow up the acceleration as you felt.
