I'm getting driver side headlamp light failure readings randomly but nothing has ever gone out, what do I do?

I would not recommend this unless you know the limits of the E46 headlamp circuit. You can't really "upgrade a fuse". They are what they are for a reason. If you know how much current the circuit can handle, then you can bump up the fuse rating if there is enough "padding" built into the system.

if anything you want to "downgrade" your fuses since hids draw less current.
