Want to purchase a fun car. Outside of age/wear issues, is buying a low mileage '01/'02 a bad idea verses say purchasing an '04? It's going to be a third car and I'd really rather not spend the $$ for the later model but at the same time i want to enjoy owning and driving the car. i'd rather put future money into upgrades over time rather than in regular visits to the car dr.

Any info on where to bring perspective buys for inspection will be greatly appreciated, as well.
