hi, i have for sale a E36 3 spoke steering wheel with airbag and the side tabs from my 98 M3. i replaced it with another wheel, so i have no use for this one.

there is some wear at the twelve o clock position. the emblem on the airbag is dented in a bit. it does not come with a slip ring. if u have a E36 3 series from 95+, u can reuse yours. for more info about this, visit this DIY site for the steering wheel info and install. http://home.earthlink.net/~frankie66/cars/diy/E36_steeringwheel.html

2 separate explosive charge connectors on the back side for a dual stage, but it isn't. No US Market e36 has dual stage airbags.

That is wrong. they are single stage. all E36 have single stage airbags. if it was dual stage, no one would be able to retrofit them to the older e36s. the url page might be talking about 3/5/6/7/8 series, as they stopped the e36 3 series in 98.

The stitching is original. it has the tri colour M stitching. jus a bit dirty i guess. u can clean it with a toothbrush and soap.

No 99 was a split year. They ended e36s in 99 and started e46s in 99. Im not sure what e36s were 99s but my 318ti is a 99 and came with this wheel. still dont know if the 99 e36s were dual or single
