Sorry for the weird title but I just want to know if there's a clean and easy way that I could take the rear emblem/logo off and put it back on?

I want to paint it black and stick it back on but I don't know anything about the adhesive and such. I know they have these for sale but it's 20 bucks or so.

Thanks.

Nothing too easy.....you'd have to use a heat gun/hair dryer and fishing line to get it off, then some sort of adhesive to put them back on. It'd pretty much be the same procedure as getting the new badges, but you'd have to find the adhesive....could probably use double-sided tape, and cut it to fit.

I believe that 3M makes a good adhesive, just search the forums for Badging or De-badging.

Here's what I've found so far for you.

Very, very easy!!!!!! I had to do this when my dinan badge was put on.... All you need is fishing line, then you put the line behind the letters and just pull down.... Comes right off... Then all you need is goo-gone. just spray it on, let it sit for 5 minutes, then wipe off .. You may have to peel off with fingers a little, and scrape with nails a little. Will take 10 minutes.....
