I thought I'd ask... do I need to check or reset radio code when replacing the car battery? I did not see anything on the manual, but I thought I'd ask just to make sure. (If there is, could someone pls let me know how I could find the code?)
Thanks.

Nope. I just had to disconnect by battery the other day, no code needed when I reconnected.

if you just replace it right away, no.

To be a little more clear:
The radio used in the E46 doesn't use a radio code. It doesn't matter how long the battery is disconnected or how long the head unit has been out of the car.

Thanks gang for the prompt reply. Appears to be still original battery here... am not sure how long they really last. Though, it looks like still holding up charge well. I know now at least, need not worry about radio code when time comes to replace the battery. Have a nice day all!
