The M3's have 4cyl? I didnt know that. Why so? for the weight? I would think they got more power from the 6cyl

:confused.... I been on here since 05' and I don't even have 300 posts.... read, read read. With all the bimmer forums out there I would invest in reading much more to separate models and the lineage in each. Just a helpful hint to avoid some serious :ar15firinon you...

start small.....google bmw and start with the 2002 and work your way up its pretty cool

yes well they are few and far between, just build up and learn on your 325 and take er easy. You have a RWD performance car for your first one so be careful. And like I said read read read.... theres an art to building these cars...try not to cross any lines into the "import world" with huge wings and loud exhaust and you'll be fine.

hahaha yeah I know a good bit about rear wheel drive ( I was going backwards on a highway the other night after it had rained while I was in work) But dont have to tell me twice about high wings or loud exhaust, my brothers first car was a honda( that thing was loud ugly and annoying!) S your safe there but I will gladly take your advice.

Hey man he's in Baltimore. You should make an offer. I dunno get a small loan. lol but honestly as a new kid to BMW's and cars in general I wouldnt suggest it I feel having that car would be throwin ya in the lions den....not the power aspect but the maintenance I feel that car would need. Doesn't look very cared for. If you look around and get hooked on E30 M3's a lot of threads have been started (including mine) where M3's can be had for cheap I got mine for $5300( with zero rust) and it has 108k and very good condition. When your ready it will come ;)

Yeah If I was in a position to buy I would, rust repair isnt that big of a deal, and I would spend the money on it just to have an M3
