Got the duel tips which are way bigger than the factory ones. Nice welds and at a great price. But you cant get the duel tips at the close out price anymore. Check out the attachments. If I can muster it Ill get a video of befor and after plus drive bys of both systems factory and supersprint

Yes, sound clips please!

Looks sweet. Whats the diameter of the mid pipe vs stock? Aren't there 2 stock?

Measurements of both would allow us to calculate relative pipe area.

He got the quieter of the two exhausts because of the power-loop design, so i'm guessing it's the street version.

I hope the fitment is excellent. I was ready to purchase the oval exhaust system for my car until i saw how low the tip was hanging out the rear.

Please post pics asap!

The two versions they offer are the racing and street, they actually only offer a street version for the SI. The oval system also uses the powerloop design. I alos hope the fitment is excellent, the oval system looks great but I wanted the car to look stock in terms of the tips. The muffler looks huge though, the tips especially, compared to stock. Stock has to be 75mm or less, these are 80mm in diameter. Ill let you guys know Im putting it in on Frid or Sat.:)

The stock piece is 2, the y if you look at the Supersprint pic converts this at the cat into one, and eliminates the resonator as well. Which I assume is restrictive.Stock pipe sytem is 2 1/8 inch inside diameter. the Supersprint single pipe is 2 6/8 inches inside diameter or 2 3/4 inches whatever your preverence

The Oval Tip doesn't have to hang low... It's a pretty easy adjustment.

Also, there is no loop in the Oval and it comes sport / street / race.

The midpipe does delete the resonator and the resonator is filled with material just like a Cat. The stock is also a lot heavier. (yeah "alot is a scientific measurement that sits some place between "not much" and "a sh!t load".

The midpipe is where the better bass tone comes from:) It also takes up more space than the double pipe that is our stock one.

Youtube Vid here of the Oval sport.

The sport is @ 2-4 decibels lounder than the looped street.

Which one of the 3 versions of the oval exhaust did you get?

Is the install easy enough to do at home or is there cutting involved?

BTW...Supersprint told me that their exhaust is roughly 18lbs lighter than stock. Obviously the power loop system will weigh a little more because of the extra piping.

I think it is only street and race systems for our cars, the duel tip is under the street system page as is the 1st oval tip muffler then the one denoted as a race muffler. Which I assume is the one you purchased. What modification do you need to do to make the muffler sit higher?

According to my paperwork I have the sport Oval tip.

There are three levels. Street, sport and race. They are loud in that order as well.

The street was supposed to be 2-4db louder than stock ad the sport another 4-8 than stock.

The biggest thing for me is the depth of tone...

Frustration did you have to cut anything underneath the car for the exhaust to fit? If I have the sport then how much louder is it than stock?I didnt get to do it this weekend, work. Let me know thanks.
