This might sound pretty dumb, but I think I messed up something while replacing the CDV with Zeckhausen's modified one. I bled (maybe not enough), and took it for a test drive. It was fine until I got on a highway and decided to go open throttle, and after ~6k RPMs into 1st gear, the clutch drops to the floor when I try to shift, and I can't switch gears! I had to stay in first all the way home (:eyecrazy), and the clutch feels like it did before I bled it. I think I didn't tighten something, but does anyone think this is just because I didn't bleed the system enough? (how much is enough?) Thanks!

How did you bleed the system? Pressure bleeder? Due to the configuration of the clutch system, you may have to remove the slave to bleed it completely.

Update: The problem was the slave cylinder bleed screw. I could hear the fluid and air coming out of it when I pushed the clutch down. Obviously when I drove it last night, the slave screw wasn't tightned enough (my fault) and it popped open. I lost the rubber cap that goes on top of it somewhere on the highway, but found a replacement. I had to refill the fluid, and re-bleed, this time I made sure everything was tight. Just got back from a test-drive and everything seems okay. Hopefully this experience helps someone else that isn't as mechanically inclined as I.
PS. CDV replacement is sooo much nicer. Shifts are smoother. Good mod.

so is this mod better than the CDV delete mod?

It is the same thing, but if you are under warranty, its gives the appearance that the CDV has not been tampered with.
