Hi, I just got the ipod adapter retrofit installed in my glove compartment on my 335i.

I first saw this ipod adapter on my clients 750i and it displays the song track title on the lower left corner. On mine it just says something like cd1-001 and it doesn't scroll and display the music title like on the 750i.

Is that normal?

I have the same iPod adapter and yes, that is normal. On the entertainment section of the NAV screen, you will see artist, track name, etc. But on the lower left corner which is always there no matter what is on the large part of the screen, it only shows CD1-001 or whatever "disc" (i.e. artist, album, song, playlist) and "track" number the iPod is playing.

So I guess the 7series have a better computer in the car... I was hoping it would have the same IPOD features.
