Hello.
I need help mapping 3 wires from the OEM heated seat switch to complete my retrofit of OEM heated seats in my '00 e38.
I have scoured e38.org, this forum, roadfly, multiple google searches, etc. All I have come up with is a diagram for a '95 e38 that has different switchs.
Any help on mapping the following wires would be appreciated. I will include a static link for pics of the wires and harness below.
1. Red w/blue stripe - I think this a continuous power lead given the gauge, the coloration, and the position in the harness. Of course, this is just a guess.
2. White w/red stripe & yellow dots - I think this would wire into an ignition-on circuit to open/close the switch circuit. Another guess.
3. Purple w/white stripe & yellow dots - I have no idea.
I am going to try to post this link... I just lost a more descriptive narrative for this thread when I got an error that my newb status won't let me post links (ugh)... so, please copy/paste into a browser to follow the link (thanks!)...

Thanks in advance -justin
