Well I am in a bit of a conundrum...I payed Jim a tad over $1000 to source me a CSi steering box, and it has been a while since I have had contact with him. I would like to know what I should do...namely press the issue for an ETA or just ask for a refund. Thoughts?

I'm part of the GregK experience, Have'nt gotten over it yet, I worded my reply wrong, Wasn't try to put you on the spot but anyone who doesn't hold up to there part of the deal, Deals normally go bad once money changes hands for some reason? Before the change there's no excuse or warning of what's about to take place, It's always yea, Yes, Ablsolutley and then there's a bunch of interuptions, Communication is key in such a event IMO! Too many bad experiences for me i guess, My apoligies.

This is the second time i here about this greg k thing, Who that
I think i know what you mean i have a few customers that never sent back cores and i did not charge a core, ordered crap i sourced and they never paid in the end, Got a few paper weights around. I got a bit frustrated yesterday. most of my bad boys are out side the community, It makes you have to take a hard stand, sometimes but i dont let it sour me. their are some rewards. When i was down with penumiona in December this guy calls as i am walking out the door on friday night begging me to ship a maas air sensor for an M73 for saturday delivery a few days before xmass. I caved in made my wife wait 2 hours while i made arangements to pack it up and get it out the door same day.Of course i got hell from the wife for not resting and not getting xmass stuf done Right about New Years the young man sent me a letter thanking me for getting it out He was able to Drive 400 miles to spend the holiday with his family. Its thing like that that keep me going .I am glad the effort made a great holiday for some family to be together.

You guys are far too patient - much like GregK's customers who paid money for a product and never received what they paid for. They also couldnt get responses to emails and phone calls. There are many others of us who can and will supply reasonably priced used parts in a timely fashion. While this doesnt get you your money back, at least you could get on with whatever fix/modification you are trying to complete.

I have obviously been pretty busy with Steffen's restoration and have not really advertised or had the time to mess with the parts cars. If anyone needs anything get in touch with one of us. You will find that pricing is very standard and fair between us. Generally 35% of what Realoem shows, some rare items are higher. Many folks think this parts deal is like a retirement acct. Not quite, it's like working for $2.75 an hour besides sitting on the inventory. It goes along with the car, you have to have the passion for it. To effectively remove each item correctly without destroying it or something else in the process takes time. Time=money! One thing I would ask of everyone requesting parts- please take the time to look up the actual part# and request it that way. I have exchanged pictures at times to verify correct parts. Any time you can save us researching what you need would be appreciated. In other words-"the little plastic thingy next to the other thingy" is not going to get it! This part you are looking for is probably worth about $3-10. and if we have to go thru anything more than putting it in a box or envelope....well- you get the idea. In most cases we will refer you to Gault for these small items that you need new anyway. Sorry to rant some, just trying to coordinate a reliable path to parts for all. Any questions?

i would defenetely advise getting parts from wuffer. many of his cars are j-spec. and shipping is very fast from canada.
but i also would like to point out that the differential i got from greg was reasonably priced and still seems to work fine after 3 months.

Just to clarify, I dont ship from Canada unless you are in Canada. I ship from Blaine Wa 2X/week normally. If urgent and I can help I will make a special trip across the border to do so.

When you say "early" style, what exactly to you mean - the piece hasn't changed (unless he shipped you one of the wood ones) - do you mean the two inserts on either side of the shifter? Those are available separately you know

not sure what you're talking about "old style" but I would point you to Crevier or Gault for a part like that. Any of those plastic pieces are usually blemished or worn and for the money it's worth it for new.

the later inserts have some sort of a coating on them. the look is less plastic like looking. i got it in my 93. but if it gets scratched then the coating will wear off.

But if you say 2 weeks and meant 2 months, That will make you look elsewhere for parts, He offers great parts with extra's sometimes attached, I would still support him and i know he doesn't need it, The product is exactly what he says it is no doubt, I'd just like the arrival date narrowed down more accurately.
