Hello all, I'm looking at buying a 1984 533i. Its been sitting for a year but was running excellent until parked june 2006. We mainly think it's the battery that has gone and we think we can get it to run. What are some common problems with the e28? What should i look for in this car that has been sitting for a while? It has no rust and approximately 260kms. Thanks for the help in advance!

Also, the bolts for the driverside seat needs to be replaced. Where can I get these?

Make sure the driver's seat mounting points are OK - I had them stress-crack on my 533i years ago. If it is just the bolts, either pull one from the passenger's side and match it at a hardware store, or go to the dealer.
