I've got an E36 M3 racecar with an S54 swap using the stock S54 engine management and throttle-by-wire.

Yesterday at the track, I was going into limp mode, and couldn't get above 4K RPMs. I pulled a fault code for throttle pedal position sensor. I checked some wiring, and the throttle bodies, and they would open fully with the engine idling or at rest. I cut power to the car, cut it back on, and then I had NO throttle movement at all. The throttle would do it's quick self-test when I would turn on the car, but nothing happened when I hit the pedal.

I got a new pedal (the fact that the dealer stocks them means that they must go bad often!), and still no throttle movement. I checked ALL of the wiring, and it's fine. The car will start and idle, but that's it. Modis scantool sees nothing when I step on the pedal, and pulls codes for throttle pedal sensors 1 & 2.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance! max

Sounds like a wire may be cut some place... or possibly a short.

Saw your car at delta-v, it looked amazing to say the least. Have you ran the problem by Jeff? Bump, maybe someone on here has an answer for you.
