I may be alone on this, but I notice a lot of BMW owners buy products based on the name. Now this is not all directed at you so no offense and all that jazz. :) But for instance:

Style 5's and 17x8 BBS RS wheels - Honestly to me they are damn near the same; Why would I pay twice as much for the same wheel?

Style 32's and Alpina's - Once again, a slight difference but why pay more?

ACS wheels in general - They look nice but $3000 to $4000?!?

To me there are only two reasons to buy wheels: weight and looks. If you want light weight just buy custom wheels and get exactly what you want. If you want looks just buy good quality reps, later model OEM's, or scour the net for deals like I do. :D

I agree with you overall on BBS RS vs. Style 5's. but Style 32's and Alpina's don't look anything aloike to me, especially the "classic" Alpinas. I've never been a fan of ACS wheels. I heard about the Kopis and was pretty excited to buy a set, until I saw what they looked like. Too bad they didnt reproduce them with the lip.
