I understand that getting a deal is not everything in buying a new car, but I am interested to know: For those who are doing a 3 year lease on the 335xi. What was your total up-front cost and monthly payment?

I am interested to know how they discount the 335xi compared to the 328xi. (given current supply & demand for these cars)

Thanks

You can find out on bmwusa.com, but it also varies from dealership to dealership. Some will offer it cheaper or work out a deal with no down payment. You have to just go to the BMW dealers near your house and get all their best pricing and then choose one dealership. I was super lucky, my brother is good friends with a dealer by my house and i got my 335xi coupe at near employee cost. I put absolutely nothing up front out-of-pocket, $400/Month nearly fully loaded 335xi coupe.

$400/month - yikes, what was your agreed upon sales price? With nothing down that is equal to around $35,000 with ultra low MF? Congrats on that price!

I paid $1000 cap reduction and I have a $601/month based upon a sales price of $47,000.

I was quoted yesterday on a 335i on a 36 month 10k per year lease. The cost of the car after discount was 44k even(MSRP=45895). No down payment, just the regular 1st payment plus security plus aqu. fee etc of 2300. The monthly payment was $688 including PA's 9% tax on lease payments. The money factor was .0023 and the residual on the car was 62%. Any comments would be appreciated as I have not pulled the trigger yet. This car will be ordered from the factory.

Sounds a little high IMO. I would call the next dealer to compare prices.

Its all about who you know, if it wasnt for my brothers friend being a salesman I wouldnt be driving my newly aquired bimmer. I am lucky as hell. I went to another BMW dealer near my house a few weeks before i got my car and i was quoted $560 with 3k out of pocket, which is equivelant to about $650/Month with $0 out-of-pocket. I am grateful to be saving $250 a month

Thats awesome. Yea, I was quoted $590/month on a 335xi. With the things I am saving for right now, just could not justify an extra $100/mon. So I went with the 328xi. (still VERY excited though!!!)

So what was your agreed upon sales price and mf for that payment? It would have to be way below invoice pricing and below market mf through someone other than BMW.

I agree, that doesn't compute. Please do share if you would.

Well according to the salesman he put it as an employee car. So im guessing it didnt go through as a customer sale, but the system recognized it as an employee car, at employee cost, but i think he bumped the price up a little bit from employee cost. He is driving an 07' M5 that he claims to be paying $750/month for. As for giving you the exact details of the sale, I cant really say, my brother negotiated all the pricing and payment, I just picked out the colors and options. However I will attempt to get in contact with my brother and ask him the exact details and get back to you guys.
But just from calculating it in my head the agreed upon sales price would have to be around $33k.
