So, I'm picking up a 2002 SMG on Thursday. I haven't had an M car for nearly three years now so I am very excited. It is relatively stock with the 19" CSL wheels. I'm ok leaving it that way...will probably do anti-sway and a couple of other cheap add ons but...

Anyway point is - anything I should do to this car out of the gate? I'm thinking I don't want to spend more than 1K. Any suggestions? What would you do in my shoes?

Body color reflectors and suspension.

Car looks good, so nothing more unless it needs the regular maint. or at the mileage inspection II.

Computerized Tints...it'll look nice on a Silver ///M. Actually they look nice on anything!
