My rear-most exhaust hanger broke, and now it's all hanging pretty horribly. The problem here is that I can't find a new one! Recommendations? Don't have a stealership nearby.

Try looking it up first on realoem.com for a part #, then search for it on car-part.com.

can't find it on that website... I think what I'm looking for is #9 in this link (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=DD63&mospid=47585&btnr=18_0243&hg=18&fg=20)

take it to a local muffler shop and they can install a generic one. It really doesn't matter if it is OEM.

That is the part.
Mine broke and I took it to a local muffler shop. I told them I didn't want them working on it unless they allowed me to stay in the bay and observe.
Also, be careful to monitor how low they mount it.

bah... I'd rather just get the part and put it on myself

I recently bought a few. Local muffler shop were no help in my case. I found and ordered some over at: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/details/QQBMWQQ528iQQOE_ServiceQQMuffler_HangerQQ19972000Q QW0133-1631944.html

I can understand that.
I also took it there to get a quote on a Y silencer, rear silencer delete.
