Hi everyone,

Bit of an annoying fault with my car and not sure where to start.

I came to open my car today with the unlock button on the key and it wouldnt open, so I got my spare key and that wouldnt open it.

I opened the car through physically using the key so i could get the manual out and this set the alarm off.

I read the manual, found nothing. Used the unlock button on the key again and it worked......

I used my car during the day and when i arrived home the car wont lock and alarm from the buttons! So i have physically used to the key to close it and the buttons still wont work.

I would really appreciate some advice.

It could be your battery is low on the key fob. Try taking your car for a long trip see if it works better.

Yeah thanks for the advice, I wasnt aware that driving charges your key battery and I only drive a short distance to get to work.

I did some more looking around on the site last night and discovered re-initilising the keys, so I did that and so far so good.

But i shall wait and see.
