so...i just got an email from my rep sayin that delivery will be late may/early june! thats insanely late! i'm comin home from my deployment in mid april, so i'll be out w/ a car for over a month and a half.

what do u guys think? how did u guys cope w/ waiting? holy crap, i felt a tear come outta my eyes wen i read it...=(

The wait is the worst part. :( I would ask your dealer for a loaner car. A month and a half is a while, but I got 2-3 weeks of use of a free loaner from my dealer. I had ordered my 335 and was selling my old car on my own. I told them that I expected a loaner if I could sell my old car before my new one came in and they had no problems offering me the loaner. Even if you got a couple weeks, then you won't have to rent a car for as long.

That seems long, but if the dealer has exceeded their allocation for the next few months, that could happen. Can you not still shop around for another dealer?

well, i'll probably work on tryin to get a loaner. thing is, i'm deployed to iraq, and i'm comin bak in mid april, so by the time its done, i'd be sittin around for a while. i've shopped around my area, but bmw military sales saves my a$$ $3750 off msrp. soo....i think i can wait! i'll look into a loaner vehicle from them tho since its being shipped to the nearest bmw dealer by my house.
