OK, got a close one last night. I was cruising down a back country road at night. I noticed a deer out of my perefrial view. If it decided to bolt into the street, I would have been screwed.
I got a set of deer whistles, but I'm not sure where to put them without making the car look hideous, or ripping them of a ground effects spoiler when the snow level gets a little high.
Any suggestions? They are Black, and made by Bell, about an inch and a half long and a half inch thick.

Isn't the jury still out on the effectiveness of these devices?

Anyway I would think they need to be mounted in the grill (yuck) to have sufficient air flow unless you purchased the electronic version.
I drive through a forested area very early in the morning each day and have the same problems with looking out for deer and other critters. I would be interested in your results.

Psst. They're a scam. They do nothing.

That's what I heard too.

Yeah, they do not work. It is a ploy to get your $10 or however much you paid for them. There is a plethora of research that has failed to show any effect for the devices, other than reducing your gas mileage.

Wow, interesting. All the hillbillies up in the North of California (Mt. Shasta area) swear by them. But then again, they make moonshine and drive 1970 F-150's with trashed grilles. DWI, or deer bashing? Possibly both. Thanks for the articles, thanks.

Dude, throw them on your car...anywhere. Just seeing a BMW's lines ruined by some plastic deer whistles will send any animals (or humans) running for cover.
