I know this is a bmw forum, but I'm hoping someone might know the value.

Only info she gave me was it has a bad transmission and I'm pretty sure the physical condition of the car is still in good shape (she's a girl?)... I'm asking for a friend.

is the tranny auto? if so...i wouldnt recommend it. vws auto trannys are known to give major problems.
is it a tdi or 2.0?
