Hi everyone!
A "watch out" to those of you in Southern California for Auto Experts (or lack thereof) in Lake Forest, CA.
They are supposedly a reputable body shop that paints the Vorsteiner hoods. If you use some local shops, they may recommend them.
After spending $500 to get it painted, we are now REDOING the work at another body shop. They left the sides uneven, they left feathering all over the edges, they painted parts that weren't supposed to be (like the seals), they left dirt on the hood BEFORE painting it leading to bubbles all over, they never color matched the car (but said they did), and they had ZERO support. We are having to dispute the charge to get our money back. The owner's name is Mike Sangari. They have a BBB rating of AA, and should have an FFF. We are now paying $750 to redo their mess.
BE CAREFUL! A warning to other car enthusiasts... they never backed their work and complained like crazy when we wanted them to redo it. We ended up picking up the car and taking it to Quality Craft Auto Body in Huntington Beach - they laughed at the job too. Pathetic. Stay away!
