I am going to put my summer tires back on my car soon and like to refinish my Style 32 rims. Some have a bit of curb rash and two of them are peeling. Anyone know a place that will do a great job? if yes, what are the prices? Thanks

I got a card at home that Dreyer and Reinbold gave me. I'll have my brother email me the number today and I"ll post it up.

Hey Camilo, I tried emailing you back about the thermostat but my emails to you keep bouncing back. It won't let me PM you here, so can you either PM me if you're able to or email me? s351speedster@yahoo.com

Thanks.

Thanks, do you know how much they charge per wheel?

No clue. It's just what Dreyer gave me, they saw one of my wheels that had the slightest bit of curbrash when I was looking at a ZHP and gave me that card.

I just called and they said it would be approximately $120 per wheel.

Sounds like quite a bit to me.

Has anyone used Engineered Wheel Repair?

My rims are peeling, I like them and they have new tires that I just put on last year. I would think there would be a cheaper reputable place out there.

I also found this powder coating place:

what's the difference vs painting? I have Style 32's that I want to look like the original alloy finish.

Powder-coating is kind of like a type of paint. It involves melting pellets of plastic and spraying the material very thinly on the wheel. Depending on what you're comparing it too, it outlasts many other types of paint (i.e. spray paint). If you're wanting to stick to the original alloy finish though, I would try something other than powder coat. I would be interested in knowing what the factory coating(s) consist of on these wheels.

This company's website has some decent information on powder coating:

Here is a DIY that you can use as a reference in figuring out what might work for you:

Good luck.
