Curious if any E46 owners know what the top gear 70mph-100mph roll-on is (in seconds)?
How about a 70mph-100mph roll-on with shift(s) allowed?

Can you please develop a twin-screw supercharger for the e46 as you did with the e36? Thank you, that is all. :) 06LegacyGT 03-01-2008, 09:50 AM How about any roll-on data. I am curious how the car compairs to mine. Top gear roll-on 70-100 was about 6 seconds in 5th. Roll-on 70-100 using 3rd and 4th was about 5 seconds. In this test I got from 70-90 in just 3 and took another 2 seconds to get to 100. I am going to perfom some lower speed rollons as well. Kevlar 03-01-2008, 10:07 AM I'll check it today... I think they are on the cutting edge. stimpee 03-02-2008, 10:58 AM There is a great shop in San Diego (Extreme Motorsports SD) that does some incredible custom turbo and supercharger work for the M3. We are doing the ECU set ups for them. I think they are on the cutting edge. Do you think you could do the tuning on a twin-screw setup on an E46M3? I have toyed with the idea, but just to do it for fun, not for business purposes. The E36 TS stuff was dismal in that respect! I know Kurt from the FI forum, just bought a V-box from them too! :buttrock 06LegacyGT 03-02-2008, 03:26 PM 3rd gear - 3 seconds The car in your sig does not look like am M3. What year is yours? The M Roadster is lighter than the M3, but the M3 was more aerodynamically efficient. They should be in the same ball park. 100mph came just as the shift was required to 4th. sweet E46 03-02-2008, 10:14 PM not bad OxfordM3 03-03-2008, 12:17 AM [FONT=Segoe UI] 100mph came just as the shift was required to 4th. Which is quite annoying when running the 1/4 mile. Kevlar 03-03-2008, 01:10 PM Considering the time spent at the 1/4 versus real world driving conditions, I'll deal with that ever so slight issue. |
