I searched and found some info on Dick's in Sommerville, but wanted to get recent opinions. Have some insurance work that I need done, and in the past they've gotten decent reviews. Anyone have any recent experience?

As recently as last March.. They replaced the rear bumper on my Audi S6. I've always liked dealing with them (if I'm not the one writing the check). They do nice work.

I had some pretty extensive work done by them about a year ago. Paint matched perfectly and looked great, however a few months after, I noticed the clear coat was blistering and chipping in a couple spots. Took it back and they fixed it no problems. Also took about 2 months to get the original job done, I think the estimate was 3 weeks.

So expect a very very long wait, and possibly having to go back for some minor fixes, but the customer service is above average. They also know BMW's pretty well.

I've used them a few times, and my experience mirrors what everyone else has said: excellent customer service and quality work, but VERY long waits. Talk to Sal, he has always treated me well.

Dicks is where you want to bring your car if insurance is paying or you want perfection. Long wait. Great work. Stand by their work.

If you're paying, check out Sansossio. Phil Sansossio is a club racer, too.
