all depends on the day. being the beginning of the season i expect it to be a slow day. but even on a slow day you can still see 5-6 runs. it is nowhere near as packed as the other two tracks on any given day.

Thanks. But I've heard the track kinda blows (pebbles, poorly organized). Have they done any recent renovations that you know of? I'd prefer to go there since it's closer and less crowded, but also don't want to waste time a shitty track.

stories will always fly but it is my track of preference. the parking lot has stones and gravel when you come in but it's not like that stuff is on the track... and i know they have done a lot of safety renovations as i know the person who handed the owner his operating license for this year. if you have a well tuned drag car it is 1 tenth slower then e-town but that is more likely due to the higher elevation.

if you wait till later in the spring and head out on a friday night you can get 10+ runs.

tomorrow is not a very good day. i am not going, they are calling for 30+ mph winds. and on slicks that can make for a very dangerous situation.

What a bad weekend.

I went to Englishtown today, it was a great day! Large turnout, was able to get two runs in 12.63@ 116.18 MPH. Track was cold, 2.138 was the best 60' I could muster!

yeah island never opened today. i am gonna try to get out there soon.
