I was at Sunoco just tightening the gas cap from a fillup when I noticed a red S5 coming up to the light. Like an addict, my uncontrollable though is "Can catch this car before the light turns red"? I pull out, turn left, do a u turn and "BAM!!" I'm right behind him now. He's already moving and I make the light. We come up to the highway... Is he getting on or going downtown. It appears he's going downtown and then...... wait.... he merges on to the highway. Fantastic.... Here we go. As we get on the highway, he's in the right lane. I get a chance to pass him. I get on it just a little bit. Will he bite? I look in the rear view and now he's right behind me. Cool.... Traffic is heavy and we both merge onto another highway. It clears up a bit and so I move over and let him come up next to me. Now what does he do? This genius just does a ricer fly by. No warning or anything. I want him, but now he's way up ahead. I don't want to drive too fast but I want him badly. I stay in the between 80 and 90ish ( much faster than I wanted to go ) and eventually catch him as he is stuck behind cars. Now we are close again. I am able to get in front of him and when traffic clears up... what does he do? Yes, here he comes again with a running start from about 50 yards back. Well, he never made it to my passenger door. Hahahhaaa.. I shut him down in the worse way. This guy had the momentum of a freight train at high speed. After I fended him off. I slowed down and waited. Him and his passenger pass me. Passenger has his face in his hand out of embarrassment. I have a big, all teeth, smile on my face like the wolf that just ate little red riding hood.
He must have just gotten that S5. The Audi website does not do that car justice. That is one beautiful car! The S5 has pretty decent speed and power. I am sure this guy thought he could take the world in that car.

i saw my first S5 on thursday when i was down in nyc, beautiful cars i think. At first i was like Wtf is that until i had time to stare for a bit.

I agree with the others, though; Pictures really do not do the S5 justice. I saw my first one last week, sleek and black. It's a very elegant, beautiful car in person.

very nice. That sucks he wouldn't actually line up though, glad your car had plenty of go, to show him that he wasn't the king of the road.

I saw one the other day in Tyson's. Very beautiful car, but sadly it looks the same as all the other new Audis.

not much to tune...the s5 has the audi 4.2 v8 in it. it is a beautiful car we got one in the dealership a few weeks ago. it was loaded only had a couple options and it was $58,000!!! there was no dealer marketup that was the price of the car...you can get an M3 cheaper than that or a 335i.a stock 335i is a tad quicker than a S5 add the vishnu or dinan software and u have an S5 eating machine...good kill

its actually fifth gear *a top gear spin off* and the blonde chick is vicki H-B, one of the main host. she's a pretty awesome driver...like to see her and sabine battle it out on a track :D.

The S5 is a beautiful car. The S5 would need a lot of work to beat an FI 540
