Does anyone know of a good machine shop that can clean and inspect a cylinder head for me? I was going to use R&L Engines in New Hampshire but they are closed all week for vacation.

I would prefer if the shop has a history with working on BMWs.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Me. Send e-mail to kp.mitchell@verizon.net

My dad & I have a well-equipped shop for many machining tasks, but no surface plate big enough to handle a cylinder head (yet.)

I've made many spacer rings, and machined out E34 wheels to fit on E39, as an example of stuff we can do. Let me know if we can be of any help. Dad's retired now, and works cheap. I help him for free.

you (and your dad) are my heroes. I have an E30 Touring with some alpina fake rims. they are on some crappy plastic rings that are terrible.

the car will be at the body shop for some time but when I get it back I'm more than happy to drive to your place and we can figure out what to do to make these things work!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

It will be our pleasure to help, just let me know when you're ready to do this. Take it off-line via e-mail though, OK? I don't want to be accused of using this board to make money, I really don't. I just want to help fellow Bimmerfolk and help put a little pin money in Dad's pocket (that Mom doesn't have to know about.) ;)
